Acceptable Use and Content Policy

This Acceptable Use and Content Policy sets out rules for using the TableQR service and forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
If you break this policy, we may remove content, suspend access or terminate the service.
1. Lawful use only
You may use the service only for lawful purposes and in line with all laws that apply:
- Where your business is based.
- Where your guests access your menus.
You are responsible for understanding and complying with those laws.
2. Prohibited content
You must not use the service to host, display, link to or transmit content that:
- Is illegal, fraudulent, deceptive or misleading.
- Infringes any copyright, trademark or other intellectual property right.
- Is defamatory, harassing, threatening, abusive or invasive of privacy.
- Promotes hatred, discrimination or violence against any person or group.
- Contains pornographic, sexually explicit or adult material.
- Promotes activities or products that are illegal in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Promotes gambling, weapons, illegal drugs or other restricted products except where clearly permitted by law and expressly approved by us in writing.
- Violates consumer, food, health, allergy or pricing regulations that apply to you.
3. Menu accuracy
You must take reasonable steps to make sure that your menus are accurate and clear, including:
- Prices and any taxes.
- Description of dishes and drinks.
- Allergens and ingredients, where required by law.
- Availability information where it matters for guests.
You are responsible for complying with all food safety, consumer information and hospitality rules that apply to your menus.
4. Technical misuse
You must not:
- Attempt to probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the service.
- Attempt to bypass any security or authentication measures.
- Use automated tools to scrape, harvest or copy large parts of the service without our written consent.
- Interfere or attempt to interfere with the normal operation of the service.
5. Data collection from guests
If you collect personal data from your guests using TableQR, for example through links or embedded forms:
- You are responsible for telling guests what data you collect and why.
- You must comply with applicable data protection and privacy laws.
- You must only collect and use data for lawful and legitimate purposes.
6. Our rights
If we reasonably believe that your content or use of the service breaches this policy or applicable law, we may, without liability to you:
- Remove or disable access to specific content.
- Suspend or restrict your access to the service.
- Terminate the service in serious or repeated cases.
